Making physical activity a part of your day is fun and healthy.

You can stay active by:

-          Climbing on the jungle gym.

-          Playing sports like soccer, basketball, baseball, football.

-          Walking your dog.

-          Raking the leaves.

-          Riding your bicycle, scooter or skateboard.

-          Helping your parents carry groceries.

-          Dancing to your favourite music.

-          Playing tag with your friends.

 

Endurance, flexibility and strength activities all help to make a healthy body.

Endurance activities help you work your heart and lungs – activities like running, jumping, hopping and skipping.

Flexibility activities help your body move easily – activities like bending, stretching, reaching and climbing.

Strength activities are those that make you use your muscles – activities like carrying things, pushing and climbing.
