Break the fast with breakfast

You’ve heard it a lot, but it’s true: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Even if you’re in a hurry in the morning, take the time to have a proper breakfast.

A good breakfast keeps your brain active, lets you remember more, improves your mood and keeps your body performing at its best. Here are a few tips to make your mornings as easy as possible.

Talk with your parents about healthy foods that you want for breakfast. For example, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc…

Mornings can be hard for your parents, so help them out! Set the table, take out the cereal, and do what you can to make your parents’ job easier.

If you just don’t have the time to eat at home, ask your parents to check if your school offers a breakfast program. If they do, see if you can go to school early so you’ll have the time to eat breakfast with your friends and get settled in for your day at school.

It only takes a few minutes out of your day to set yourself up for success. Don’t be in a rush. Have breakfast and you’ll see the difference!
